The story about an Arab who flew away because of the stupidity of his sons to Oman in balloons turned out to be a fake
This week, a story about a man from the United Arab Emirates who allegedly flew in balloons to Oman is being circulated on social networks.

Three videos are cited as evidence of the fact.

In the first video distributed, a man can be seen seated on a chair tied to a pile of balloons taking off from a vacant lot.
People who help him go on a trip comment on what is happening at first, and then seem frightened.
On the second video, you can see how in the sky, it looks like a dark spot is floating in a completely different place. One gets the impression that it was one of the eyewitnesses who filmed the journey of our hero, who continues his journey across the sky, with a smartphone camera.

The third video shows a rescue operation.

Judging by the spread of information, this is a man with balloons who fell in the mountains of Oman. The footage shows how rescuers carry a man on a stretcher and load him into a helicopter. The person himself cannot be seen, the balls are not visible either.

However, apparently, this whole story is someone's joke.

The first video presented as a video fact was published on YouTube a year ago.

The video was produced by a team that specializes in the production of video content. Their site http://misfits.ae/

Perhaps this is a promotional video for a construction company.
In a video filmed a year ago, the same man takes off into the sky inspecting the surroundings, and the advertising text says "Soon this view may be yours."
Here is the original video in good quality, which appeared on the net a year ago, without the story of someone flying to Oman.

At the beginning of the video, it is stated that no one was hurt during the filming of the video.

Another "video fact" that accompanies this fake, video frames allegedly filmed in the mountains of Oman, in which the rescue operation is visible.

In fact, this footage was taken after the September 22 incident of this year, during which a tourist from Asia was injured. The incident did not occur in Oman, but in the UAE.

On a Twitter post dated September 22, you can see that this frame is fully consistent with frames from the video.

As a result:

Of course there was a balloon flight. But the story of the "idiot sons" who made such a gift to their father for his birthday is a fiction, and the man did not fly to Oman, apparently, he landed safely after filming a video for an advertising clip.
