All people are now divided into two new types. Those who are still watching videos at "normal" speed and those who are watching videos at 1.75 speed.
Of course, it is not comfortable for the brain to perceive a movie or a music video in an accelerated mode (yet). And here is some kind of video where a "talking head" or a voiceover says a monotonous text, the narration - at an accelerated pace (to me) is often more comfortable. This is provided that the quality of the sound and the diction of the speaker allow the use of acceleration without losing the content of speech.
This method allows you to get rid of unnecessary pauses - reduce their duration, and get the desired information much faster, use the freed up time to watch the next video or for something else.

This was shown in science fiction films, when a person or an alien “uploads” large amounts of audiovisual information into his brain at high speed, and in a few minutes he knows the whole history of civilization or begins to speak a new language.
However, perhaps everything will be even simpler and in many cases it will be enough just to download information into the brain directly, without audio-video perception. But that is another topic.
