There is a "watch later" button on YouTube.
You click on it under the video and send this video to a special folder so as not to lose it and watch it later.
And you don't usually see it...
Well, I don’t know how anyone has it, at least I have 54 videos there, some have been waiting for their turn for years .. I can’t imagine that I’m like: “ok, well, this moment has come, today, right now, I will watch the same video that I put in my “Watch Later” folder in 2016.”
I won’t be surprised if others have this folder for the same purposes - for some reason, mark videos about which you think they might be of interest to you and you want to watch them, but in fact you don’t want and they are not interesting to you.
When you are interested, you just watch and that’s it, without any “later”) and this is not only about videos on YouTube.
