Is it possible to freeze bread. Certainly. In the photo - frozen bread after defrosting
It happens that more bread has accumulated at home than is needed for today and tomorrow. And after three days, today's bread can go bad. Bread spoils especially quickly in summer. I don’t want to throw away bread, although it is relatively inexpensive, it’s a pity and generally bad to throw away bread.
To keep the bread from going to waste, you can dry it in the oven and make crackers. Or, if there is no time to mess around, you can simply freeze it.
Not everyone knows this seemingly obvious trick. Bread perfectly tolerates freezing, and after defrosting it looks and tastes little different from fresh. Most importantly, it does not get wet, which happens with some foods after freezing.
Just put the bread in a bag and put it in the freezer. Frozen bread resembles dried bread. When necessary, we take the bread out of the freezer and leave it on the table for a couple of hours, it will thaw and be soft again and ready to eat.

By the way, I generally always keep bread in the refrigerator, and the one that is not frozen. So it is stored longer and less likely to develop potato bread disease, this is when it starts to smell bad and becomes sticky.
