Why does the USB adapter heat up and the fan turns off if you turn on the water spray. I bought a fan with a humidifier

I bought a table fan with a humidification function and a timer for automatic shutdown on Ozon (a popular online store in Russia) (photo below).
The fan has three speeds. The humidification mode also has three power levels. There is a backlight (very dim, but it will do to find the fan in the dark). The timer can be set for one hour, two, or three. After the selected time, the fan should turn off by itself.
Actually, I ordered two pcs, one - black, the second - white.
But white almost did not blow at all. I returned it back the same day. By the way, I want to note that the return was processed very quickly. I submitted an application, it was approved in five minutes, I took it to the pick-up point, and they immediately returned the money to the card.
The second one, by the feel of it, blew better and I left it.
Before buying, I studied the reviews and noticed that in some reviews, buyers indicate that if you turn on the fan at full power and turn on the water evaporator at the same time, the fan starts to rotate slowly or stops completely. I also saw reviews that USB adapters get very hot when used with these fans. The fan comes with a USB + Type-C cable, but there is no adapter or plug. You can connect it via a smartphone adapter.
I also had this effect, when turning on the fan and humidifier at full power, the fan slowed down. The adapters quickly heated up.
It turned out that the adapters are not suitable. The inscription on the box says that you need to use an adapter with a power of at least 2 amps. And many adapters for smartphones only give one. This is not enough for this device.
Also, strong heating can often be a result of poor assembly of the adapter, you should not leave such unattended (!). A little heating with prolonged use is normal, all electrical appliances heat up.
I found a more powerful adapter (from a smartphone with a fast charging function), which is capable of delivering from 2 to 4 amps, and with it the fan started working better. It started spinning faster and did not slow down when turning on everything at once. In addition, this adapter heats up less.
Perhaps this information will be useful to someone.
General impressions of the fan - for such a compact one, not bad. If it lasts until winter, I hope I can use it as a humidifier, in winter it is a necessary thing.
