An annual story about mice. It got cold, mice ran into houses en masse.
I set up several mousetraps around the house. Well, not really mousetraps... More like feeders for mice. Every time I put some bread in there, every time I check, there is no bread, no caught mice either...
In the kitchen, out of the corner of my eye I noticed something flashing on the floor. I thought I imagined it. But no. It turned out that the mouse had come out from under the cabinet that covered the sink.
Apparently, it had come out of ambush to personally thank me for the treats. Or it had simply been stunned by impunity and had lost its fear. Well, you shouldn't have done that...
I quickly took a bag of garbage out of the trash can and covered the mouse with a bucket. For half an hour, while I was busy with other things, the mouse sat "in the cage", waiting for its fate.
Then I had a photo shoot with it. I find it interesting toадры, ей – свободу.
Pushing a broom underneath so the mouse wouldn't jump out, he turned the bucket over and threw the mouse into it with the broom.
He took it across the road and released it in a vacant lot. I hope it doesn't come back.
