It was possible to fake a photo or video before, using Photoshop or a video editor. However, now, with the advent of artificial intelligence, the creation of fakes has reached a new level.

From a photo of any person, you can create a fake photo allegedly with the participation of this person and with almost any plot - "I'm relaxing in Bali" or "I'm on Mars." This does not require a long work of a photo editor and you can create as many fakes on various topics in a short time. Of course, if you have special knowledge or access to people, programs that have such abilities.

Programmer Santiago, who specializes in working with artificial intelligence, shares his success. In just thirty minutes and one hundred lines of code, he was able to teach his program to create an unlimited number of images of Barack Obama.



First, a code was compiled that, using the resources of neural networks, can generate images based on samples. The program was then fed two actual photographs of the former US president as samples. And in a few minutes the program was ready to create new images of Obama on a given topic.
